Ranger's Apprentice, Book one, trailer by Reuben & Karthik

Living a life in the castle for most of his life, under the mighty King Duncan’s peaceful, and lavish reign,  Will an orphan is anticipating his future... The choosing ceremony, where children get apprenticed in specialized skills with their masters,  is soon and Will wishes to be a knight. He realizes that each one of his companions had a future; Horace, a knight, Jenny; a chef, Alyss; courier, and more of his friends, which he knew would have certain profession. Will on the other hand, was not particularly muscular, or tall for that matter, and was still not sure of his destiny. Will realized that he does not fit in with any of the masters, and doesn't have those talents. Little does Will know that he has talents. Talents of a profession that only the select few know. Talents of a King’s Ranger. However as the choosing ceremony begins the battlemaster calls Will too skinny to be a knight. No Master is willing to take Will as an Apprentice until a mysterious man appears out of nowhere and claims Will.
Will immediately recognizes him as one of the Rangers, called Halt. Halt gives a letter to the Baron and tells him to put it in a safe place. The journey starts here. In the upcoming months, Will trains as a Ranger, learns their mysterious yet reasonable ways, and how they camouflage among the background. On his journey, he gathers knowledge of a war. A war, that he and the other Ranger’s will take part in. Join Will and his friends in his adventure, in the first book, the Ranger’s Apprentice, the ruins of Gorlan.

I would rate this book 5/5 just because the way this book draws you in and makes you feel for both sides of the battle the evil and the good.  John Flanagan has always been great with his books and I hope he continues to keep on writing this way.
