My Summary: Username: Evie is about a girl that is bullied at school, her father wants to create a virtual reality where Evie can be herself and be happy. But once she goes to this virtual reality her cousin has found out about it and also goes into this reality and everything goes wrong from there.

My Opinion and reasons: My opinion about this book is that it is a really good book because for me I like action books, and also a bit of an emotional book so this was a really good graphic novel.

My Rating/Recommendation: My rating for this would be 5 out of 5 stars, and I recommend this book to people who like graphic novels and action books.

My Summary:

In this book Thomas gets sent into a group of boys. They try to escape out of the maze which has many grievers inside. There is also a girl who gets sent up a day after Thomas arrived. Thomas also made other friends like Newt,Minho and Chuck. He also has enemies in the glade as well. Will he be able to escape the maze?

My Opinion and reasons:

I like this book because it is the first book of the series and I like the series.

My Rating/Recommendation:

4/5 I recommend this book to anyone.

AUTHOR: Andy Griffiths & Terry Denton

This is story about a funny joker who always wanna joke. He starts his day with (Acting like he is dead) joke. Well his parents are smarter than him. They knew he was joking so they pay back with a joke. He hates school but he likes to play with his friends. Even at school he is a practical joker. Well sometimes those jokes aren’t fun. Wait did you see a tittle? There is a cockroach in my underpants? What do you think it will happen to him? Do you think he is still joking or real? Well you will find out.

I think this is really funny story. I usually think the same thing as him. So FUN, So NOT BORING.

I will rate this book as… 4 out of 5. I will recommend this book to people who likes awesome… well weird things. And who likes funny jokes. :D  

Death Cure - James Dashner

My Summary: Thomas being left by himself in a room for weeks without human interaction. One day, the "Rat Man" called Jansen,appears and tells Thomas that he is extremely important. He tells Thomas that he has the Flare but he is one of the very rare who are immune to it. He tells Thomas that soon he will know the truth about WICKED. Thomas is reunited with his friends and the other WICKED peoples, including Teresa, Minho and Newt. Because Teresa betrayed him, Thomas doesn't trust Theresa anymore. Jansen tells them all that they will be able to get their memories back by having a surgery that will remove the chip in their brains which the scientists have been using to control and monitor them. Jansen also tells them there are a few among them who aren't immune to the Flare - including Thomas's friend, Newt. Jansen lets them decide if they want to go through with the memory restoring surgery or not.
My Opinion and reasons: 

I think that Janson is a bad person because, in the book he acts rude to the characters.

My Rating/Recommendation: 

5 out of 5. Because this book has a message that touches my mind. Also the message really connected my life, so the book was really fun.

Charlie and the Great Glass Elevator by Roald Dahl

My Summary: Charlie, the boy who was the winner of the chocolate factory. (In ‘Charlie and the Chocolate Factory’). This story flows after Charlie win the test. Charlie, rode a Great Glass Elevator and experienced ridiculous thing. He saw a Space hotel called “U.S.A”. Charlie and his party went inside to the hotel. Unfortunately, they encountered monster. Guess what happened to them? After they traveled in space, they rushed through the chocolate factory. And, Mr. Wonka introduced his mysterious, unusual bottle to Charlie and his party. Inside the bottle, there was pills. It’s called “Wonka-vite. He explained the directions to Charlie’s grandparents. If we eat 1 pil, it will took them back to 20 years ago. Finally, they ate it.         

My Opinion and reasons: In my opinion, this book is really energetic and, cool. The reason why I think that way is because, author used word/ feeling that describe how characters fell into the trouble or how characters acting, feeling. The effect of great description in this book make readers follow the book.

   

My Rating/Recommendation: I recommend this book to someone who loves to read fantasy and mysterious story.

My Summary: This book is about a girl named Katniss Everdeen She has a sister named Primrose and a mother. Her father was killed while working in a mine because of a bomb. There are 12 districts, the 12th is the poorest district, but the capital is the ruler of panema (All of the districts). There is one president named Snow. The hunger games is where people are chosen from a bowl . Effie Trinket chooses one boy and one girl from each district to fight to the death. But Katniss wants to stop the hunger games.

My Opinion and reasons: My opinion about this book is that it has a lot of action. It can sometimes be an emotional book, and rarely has any humour which I like because sometimes it can get a bit boring and most of the time I would l like something Interesting to happen.

My Rating/Recommendation: I recommend this to people who like action and drama kind of books. I rate this 5 out of 5 stars.

Scorch Trials By James Dashner

Thomas has escaped the Maze and is in a bigger challenge. The Scorch Trials is another challenge that Thomas and his

friends need to escape. Thomas wakes up in the middle of no

where and tries to figure out where they are. Most of his friends

from the maze are still there. He realizes that he has friends and enemies. Can Thomas and his friends escape

the Scorch or will they get the flare ( a disease)?

I enjoyed this book because it had similarities with the first book.

This book had a plot that did not build in the beginning but then it

started building up more and more until it finally reached it’s climax.

Before reading this book you might want to read the first book the Maze Runner. I give this a 4.2 rating because it had a brilliant plot that helped the reader understand the book.

Alice in Wonderland

My Summary:

This book is about a girl who falls in a world with talking animals. In the land of wonderland, there is a talking animal, talking cards, and all sort of weird powers. There is a queen that rule the land. It is a heart queen. She is cruel and tries to kill alice who accidentally fell to the world.

My Opinion and reasons:

I think instead of other innocent people, heart queen should go to the jail. Because heart queen is very evil enough to kill every people who disobeys her.

My Rating/Recommendation:

I recommend this book to fantasy lovers. My rate is 3/5. Because the main idea isn’t clear to me.  

Book review: Lord of the Ring II: The Two towers by J.R.R Tolkien

This book is one of the series of the Lord of the Ring. In this book, the main character, Frodo, who is the weird creature called hobbit. (a mixture of rabbit and human.) One day, his uncle, Bilbo told him that he has a ring which could control all the ring of the rulers in the middle earth (where the story took place), and give it to his nephew. But, the evil lord called Sauron was trying to get the ring, so, Frodo decided to destroy the ring once and for all. With his loyal friends and human warrior named Aragon, and a strange wizard named Gandalf, he took journey to the mountain to destroy the ring. But, he faces a danger….. an orcs, terrified creatures of the middle earth. Can Frodo successfully finish his mission? “Can he save his world?”

I think this is well-written books with lots of crafts. Like, during this book, there’s lot of alliteration and liming words which made the book more interesting. Also, the author gave a lot of details to describe each characters in this story.

I give 4 out of 5 stars to this book because, even though this book was interesting and very tense, it was tough and hard for me. I recommend you to read this book when your reading level is higher than V. I recommend this book to the fantasy lovers and historians because the setting of this book is similar to the European medieval age.

I recommend this book to the people who like funny stories or people who like DIARY of a Wimpy Kid. I give it 5/5 Stars!

My Summary: A girl called Cherry moves from Glasgow to Somerset. Her dad met someone so Cherry and her dad went to go live with her in Somerset. Everyone welcomes her all the sisters. Except one sister Honey she is very moody and mean and doesn't give Cherry a chance. Cherry is adjusting and finding it hard. Cherry’s dad is in the chocolate business and she and her new family will help to make a chocolate festival. With all new truffles. Will Honey ever like Cherry or will she hate her forever? Read the book to find out.

My Opinion and reasons: The book was very interesting. Especially the conflicts between Honey and Cherry. You can’t even put the book down. It is a very good book.

My Rating/Recommendation: I would give it a 10/10. If you are someone who likes realistic fiction this is the book for you!

My Summary:

New kid  the Thomas, comes into the Glade where people are living. Glade is a place where it is surrounded by huge stone walls. There is a rule which keeps peace in the glade. 1. No going out of the glade unless if you are a runner. 2. Do your work. 3. Never hurt another glader. But Thomas changes the rule from one to ten. He changes the thinking of stone walls around you and peace inside the glade he changes into a war between gladers. They try to escape the glade to go outside world and to discover what made them come into the glade. They know everything except for 2 things. One what lays among the maze, Two why are they in the glade.

My Opinion and reasons:

I think that Thomas was very amazing character because in the book, he changes many people’s thought about ‘Why being stuck in this place?’ and saved many people’s life. Also Newt and Minho, Thomas’s best friends really make story exciting and making you want to see the book. Because they do stuff which you didn’t even predict that it would happen .

My Rating/Recommendation:

I give this book 10 out of 10 stars. Because this book keeps on making you read the next series and see the movie too! I recommend this book to person who really likes to see books that can make you sweat a lot!

This book is about a boy. One day he begins to arrive later than his sister. Her sister and her  mother's  are very stressed. His sister start to spy  on her brother. The  sister start to ask to friend to help… At the end the sister find what the brother  was doing after school.
t’s a very good book because  and I can understand. I will give ⅘ to this book. I will recommend this book the the person who like adventure.

After he is told that his parents were a fake, his life changes forever. Now he is the only hope to save the world. He have to fight against Solaris, who is trying to destroy him and everyone else. Will he able to do it?

I think this book is a great book because the book shows us that when a thing or a person has a special ability, there are people who tries to use in a bad and in a good way.

I give 3 out of 5 stars in this book and I recommend this book to people who wants to read young-adult fiction books which makes you think a lot, not books which have a lot of actions or other things.

Dork Diaries By: Rachel Renee Russell

My Summary: This is about a girl named Nikki she has two best friends their names are chloe and zoey, she also has an enemy named mackenzie, Brandon is her friend/secret crush. Nikki has a hard time fitting in at middle school, Mackenzie is always bullying her and she has no idea what to do, but she still has her best friends: Zoey, Chloe, and Brandon.

My Opinion and reasons: my opinion about this book is that it is a very funny and nice book, I like how the author describes what the characters are doing.

My Rating/Recommendation: I rate this 5 out of 5 stars, and recommend this book to people who like funny books.

The westing game by Ellen Raskin

This book is about Mr. Westing’s will. One day, Mr. Westing wanted to play game. So, he called heirs to let them stay in Sunset hotel and let them inference who killed Mr. Westing. But, there are bomber, thief, mistakes among the heir. Many things happened in the hotel, like the bomb exploded and, someone steal clues. Turtle(character) tried to solve the truth of the will and, what job do the heirs had. In fact, she found the truth of will by matching mysterious clues. In my opinion, this book is adventurous and, interesting. Because, while I read this book, I couldn’t throw tension away because, the author used sound impact, action and repetition. I recommended this book for people who loves to read mystery, adventurous and, exciting book. I give this book thumbs up because, the author used mysterious sentence in at the end of the chapter, and it makes us to concentrate on the book. Rate: 4.2 out of 5.  

Divergent by Veronica Roth

This book is about a 16-year old girl who lives in a society which is divided by five groups of people: Dauntless, Abnegation, Amity, Erudite, and Candor. Every year, 16 year- old children choose a faction to live their whole life in. One thing is that if they choose a different faction from their parent’s faction, it means they betray their family forever. She chooses Dauntless, apart from Abnegation. But in Dauntless, with her dangerous secret that can take her life away, needs to hide her secret to save her life. Will she? If you want to know, let’s read it.  

I think this is a great book because it shows us about a conflict between human nature and a faction system which force people to think that the group a person is in, is more important than that person’s family, which is against human nature, which made me think a lot. This book shows us that human nature is not changeable by any kinds of things people tries to change it.

I want to give 4 stars out 5 star for this book. I recommend you to read the book before you watch the movie because you can imagine more about the book, then watch the movie, which makes you compare your imagination and the story with the book.

11 Birthdays by Wendy Mass

I really liked this book because it’s the story of a boy and a girl who are born on the same day and are best friends. But on their 10th birthday, Leo ( the boy ) is talking with his friends and Amanda overhears his friends telling him not to be friends with her and Leo says yes. Amanda just leaves the party because she is mad at him. One year passes. When they were little, a woman had talked to their parents about celebrating their birthday every year together. But since their fight, they haven’t talked. This year, they aren’t celebrating it together. On their birthday, they have an okay day.  When Amanda goes to sleep, the next day is again her birthday and so on.

I liked this book because it tells you that you are stronger with your friend than alone and together you can solve out a problem.

I give this book a 6 out of 5 stars because I couldn’t let it go! I needed to see what happened and I enjoyed the suspense. I recommend this book to everybody who likes suspense and adventure.

And Lucy found magic door in wardrobe, and she told to Peter,  Susan, and Edmund.So they went to magic door, and immediately it changed to Winter.  They know there are 2 world between Narnia and real world. In Narnia they are fighting with witch’s army. Aslan is king of Narnia but he was killed by witch because they lost first battle. But god gives him new life. If you want to know what happen next, read the book then you will know it.

My opinion Peter,Susan,Lucy, and Edmund are  brave enough then anyone else because they could die at battles, but they fought with wicked witch. So they can save Narnia world and many faun’s and animals lives. Also I learned I have to be brave like Peter and think positive.

I will give this book 5/5 and I would like to recommend  who like adventures, actions, and fantasy.
