Homeroom Diaries - James Patterson and Lisa Papademetriou

This winter break, I have been reading some books recently, but this book I just finished is A-W-E-S-O-M-E! I have to admit it, this book is the best book I ever read this year! The story is about this teenage girl named, Margaret Clarke, but people call her Cuckoo, or Kooks and she loves to doodle. She has a rough life, her mom disappeared when she was young, and now she is living with her neighbor, Ms. Morris, and her teachers(most of them) thinks she is mental, and demands her to give them her diary! Isn't that harsh?.

Cuckoo/Kooks
But she got cool friends, and they made nicknames for themselves, Eggy AKA Hana, Brainzilla AKA Katie, Tebow AKA Peter, Flatso AKA Beverly, and Cuckoo AKA Margaret. Her friends accept her for her, not as a mental person. There group is called 'The Freakshow', at her school, people only sit with the people they fit in with, like the Barbies, Jocks, Haters, Activists, Mathletes, and more. They all don't get along well, so The Freakshow tries to get them together, but usually fails.

Do you think she will survive all this? Do you think she will end up in a mental hospital? Is she really MENTAL/CRAZY?

If your desperate to know more, or just curious, and love a friendship and a tiny bit of romance, than you read the right reflection! What are you waiting for, go and buy the book! Or maybe check the library if the book is there.

AND I GIVE THIS BOOK 5 STARS

Dead is the new black - Marlene Perez

I read 'Dead is the new black' by Marlene Perez, in November and it was so C-O-O-L. Its all about mystery and supernatural!(Good combination). Some of the  main characters are, Daisy Giordano, Poppy Giordano, Ryan Mendez, and Samantha Devereaux. Daisy has just got back from her summer vacation to Italy, but only with her sisters and her grandmother. Her mother is a psychic investigator, she works with Mr. Mendez/Ryan's dad, and she got caught up with a case in Italy, so her sisters and her are alone at home until their mom comes. Ryan is her boyfriend, he is a werewolf and he plays for the school's football team. Poppy, is Daisy's bigger sister and she is still upset with her ghost boyfriend. Samantha, is her best friend and her boyfriend, Sean, is best friends with Ryan, that's what Ryan thinks. Her neighborhood, Nightshade, has a lot of supernatural stuff going on, vampire, werewolf, but this time, it's 'Doppelgangers', they are an evil twin/clone of someone. Someone has been making them! She found out that one of her sister's boss, was a doppelganger. Doppelgangers have chunks of memories from the real twin but they love sugar, they would die without it~!. When she was 12, her dad left her family for an experiment(he was a scientist) and after he just disappeared, there are rumors that he started a new family but Ms. Giordano believes its about something else. While Daisy's mom was away, people kept saying Mr. Giordano is back in town, and once in the afternoon he went to her house and she was in shock, she saw the same keys and the same key chain she gave him '#1 dad'.He even had the same scent and handsome look. Could it be her real dad? Or is it a doppelganger? Should she call someone?

If you love a story that has a little bit of romance, mystery, and fantasy, than this is the right book! :D make sure you read her other books~ (Dead is a new state of mind, Dead is the new black).

I would rate this a...

Blood of Olympus by Rick Riordan

This book is about 7 demi-gods and the prophecy seven. It is the fifth and the final book of Hero's of Olympus Series.

Both Greek and Roman demi-gods in the verge of war. All of Gaia's giants has risen, more powerful than ever. Both Roman and Greek on the war-ship, ARGO II. They must be stopped before the Feast of Spes, when Gaea plans to have two demigods sacrificed in Athens. She needs their blood, which is the Blood of Olympus in order to wake. The Roman legion from Camp Jupiter, led by Octavian, is almost within striking distance. He can strike any moment.

2 Demigods and one satyer carries the Athena Parthenon to Camp Half-Blood to stop the war between the two camps. The Athena Parthenon go west and the Agro II go east to stop Gaia. The gods are suffering from issues and they are useless. If Gaia wakes, it is game over.

Forever By: Maggie Stiefvater

I am recently reading a book called "Forever" by Maggie Stiefvater. It is the last book of the Shiver series, and I don't want to spoil anything for you, but something I will tell is this:
Grace had been bitten 6 years ago, she hasn't been turned into a werewolf, which is weird. All the others were turned into werewolves, but not her. What has happened?
She, from the beginning to the end (?) has been loving a wolf, later known as "Sam" he is a werewolf, and a boyfriend of Grace. A gray wolf, with yellow eyes.  Problems pass by, the wolves getting bitten, the people trying to kill the wolves not knowing that they are people, also. Werewolves can turn into people only when the weather is hot, and when it's cold, they will turn into a wolf again. It is very risky turning into a wolf when people are near by. The people are trying everything just to get the wolves out of their lives, forever gone, or to move them to another place, (Ex: Death, another country) Werewolves also has a limited years of turning into a person. It can be long, and short. It depends. By now I have read the part where the police, (a father of Isabel, who knows about wolves, and knows mostly all about them) is trying to get all the wolves to another country, and he is trying to kill them. I don't know if he will be able to accomplish his mission this time, since he has pretty much failed the last few times, but he has killed a few wolves by now. It's very risky, thrilling, scary, full of suspense, and it just somehow keep you reading. My prediction is that he might be able to kill some of the wolves, but not all of them. They might just turn into a human after all. Or they might be able to be away from when the polices try to kill them. You never know until you read it. :) Also, I am still reading it, so if you ask me, I will just say: "Sorry, but I have no idea.. Read it! :D"  If you want to know what happens next, read the series!! And, to understand what's going on, you might want to read it from the first book, "Shiver" it is in the library, (In Ms. Jaya's room) but it may or may not be there since it's so popular now! :) It's so good! You can't miss a word of it. :D So, I give this book a 5 star!! Or more.. :) 5/5 100% :D

This book is recommended to EVERYONE! Go check it out! It is so AWESOME!! You can't stay away from it when you start reading it. :) EVERY SERIES!! :D If you speak English, even though you may not be such-a-good-English-speaker-or-learner read it. The reading level is Z, but I don't think it's that high. Even I read it, and understood it. :) So, PLEASE check it out. It's so good, you really don't want to miss it. :) Have a good time reading it! :)

Shiver By: Maggie Stiefvater

Shiver is a book I recently finished. This book was recommended to me from Taeyeon, my good friend. If it wasn't for her, I wouldn't have read it. She BEGGED me to read it, so I tried it. I was AWESOME!!! The book is about a werewolf, Sam falling in love with Grace, or Grace falling in love with Sam. Grace: A humanish werewolfish girl,(?) she was supposed to become a wolf, after she has been bitten, but somehow she didn't turn into one. So, werewolves turn into wolves when it's cold, and when it's warm, they turn into human.
When they first met, Sam was shot by one of the wolf killers. Grace, fortunately bought him to the hospital, and he was safely cured. Problems happen, a lot of people turn into werewolves, werewolves turning into people, people having not a single clue what the wolves are doing. And Sam has to be careful, because the weather is very cold outside. I am not good at explaining things... But, you really HAVE to read it. This is mostly for fantasy, romance, wolf, and mystery lovers.

Here are some questions you might have:
1. Will Sam, and Grace be happily ever after?
2. What kind of problems are there in the story?
3. What happens next?
4. How was Grace cured/ will Grace turn into a wolf?
5. Should I read this book?
6. Why/how is this book so AWESOME?

Rating:
5/5 THIS IS AN AWESOME BOOK!! YOU HAVE TO READ IT!!! I hope you enjoy this book if you read it, and thank you, Taeyeon, for recommending this book to me. :)
It was AWESOME!!!

The Fault In Our Stars | By- John Green | Post by- Diya :)

I am currently reading the heartbreaking yet humorous book: "The Fault In Our Stars"  By John Green. This is a Young adult literature / realistic fiction.

16 year old Hazel Grace Lancaster is a medical miracle. After being diagnosed of having an incurable cancer, Hazel has still bought her self a few years. Having more time to live, her mom has made her go to a support group that she hates going to, but she soon realises that it was a good idea. Hazel meets a young boy named Augustus Waters. He is kind and charming. Augustus has had osteosarcoma, a rare form of bone cancer, but recently has become cancer free. One day Augustus reveals some heartbreaking news to Hazel and both of their worlds fall apart. Will this effect their lives?
I highly recommend this book for people who like to read a bit of dry humour and realistic stories. Why I recommend this book is because this book contains a lot of unexpected moments. Each word in the book is full of detail and description. The book is full of metaphors which sometimes, could be a little hard to understand however it is fun to recover the deeper meaning. This book will take you on a journey of sadness, romance and happiness.

I give this book a 5/5 star rating.

Falling Fast by- Sophie Mackenzie

http://strangechemistrybooks.com/wp-content/uploads/Falling-Fast.jpg

The book I have read and loved is called Falling Fast by Spohie Mackenzie, This book is about a girl River who auditions for a part in then Play Romeo and Juliet. She finds out what part she gets and as she does the play she finds herself falling for Romeo. Romeo known as Flynn comes for a damaged family and river does not know if he can give her what she wants. She takes a risk though and goes on this lovestruck path with flynn. But does it work out? Was he the right guy? I guess you will just have to read this book to find out....

This book shows me that sometimes it does not hurt to risk things but sometimes you have to be smart if you do. It really stood out for me because th author tells it with such details that makes you feel like your on this lovestruck journey too.

I would recomend this book to anyone who loves romance, boy or girl. But I know that most girls will love it!! If you love books about tragic events and love story's this is the book for you!!

I give this book 5 Stars!!
