The Fault In Our Stars | By- John Green | Post by- Diya :)

I am currently reading the heartbreaking yet humorous book: "The Fault In Our Stars"  By John Green. This is a Young adult literature / realistic fiction.

16 year old Hazel Grace Lancaster is a medical miracle. After being diagnosed of having an incurable cancer, Hazel has still bought her self a few years. Having more time to live, her mom has made her go to a support group that she hates going to, but she soon realises that it was a good idea. Hazel meets a young boy named Augustus Waters. He is kind and charming. Augustus has had osteosarcoma, a rare form of bone cancer, but recently has become cancer free. One day Augustus reveals some heartbreaking news to Hazel and both of their worlds fall apart. Will this effect their lives?
I highly recommend this book for people who like to read a bit of dry humour and realistic stories. Why I recommend this book is because this book contains a lot of unexpected moments. Each word in the book is full of detail and description. The book is full of metaphors which sometimes, could be a little hard to understand however it is fun to recover the deeper meaning. This book will take you on a journey of sadness, romance and happiness.

I give this book a 5/5 star rating.
