My Summary:

This book is about  two young Egyptian magicians, Carter and Sadie Kane, who are just learning their powers because they have a long family history and they have the blood of the pharaohs which made them more powerful because they are channeling the power of the gods but the evil god of chaos wants to capture them and destroy the world. Will he succeed? Read to find out.

My Opinion and reasons:

I really like this book because the characters are telling their story and at some moments they split up in the book and we don't know what's going to happen to the other one. I also liked this book because it has a lot of action.

My Rating/Recommendation:

I recommend this book to people who like action, surprises, gods and Egypt.

Franny K.Stein by JIM BENTON

This book is about Franny who is trying to get a friend. Franny is very different from normal girls, so no owns want to play with Franny. The normal girls like Barbies, pretty things and pretty clothes, but, Franny is opposite she hates pretty things, pretty clothes and her favourite things to play is bats. Also, a normal girls room has lots of pretty stuff, Franny has dark stuff.

Franny is very sad about people not wanting to play with her, so she is trying to get her friend, she changes her favourite things and wears pretty clothes.

I think this book is kind of funny and makes me feel a little bit  sad, because it’s so funny about Franny is different from normal girls and sad about no one loves real Franny.

I recommend this book for who is not same as normal people, it makes them feel more better. I give this 5/5 stars !!!★★★★★

Marty Solves a Mystery/ Linda M. Washington

This book is about a boy. One day he begins to arrive later than his sister. Her sister and her  mother's  are very stressed. His sister start to spy  on her brother. The  sister start to ask to friend to help… At the end the sister find what the brother  was doing after school.
t’s a very good book because  and I can understand. I will give ⅘ to this book. I will recommend this book the the person who like adventure.

Rocky Road- by Rose Kent

Rocky Road is about a girl called Tess Dobson and her life from when she moved from San Antonio, Texas to Schenectady, New York. When they reach their brand new home Tess realizes that her apartment is a senior citizen complex!  But she makes friends with the other people living there, including Winnie- an eccentric old lady. Tess’s mother has bipolar disorder and she also has a deaf brother named Jordan. Tess’s father was an alcoholic and gambler but Tess’s mother divorced him. Tess’s mother decides to make run an ice cream shop but Tess is doubtful about her buissness scheme. Would people want to buy ice cream in snowy Schenectady?

I think this book is sad because Tess’s mother doesn’t care about her disorder and just pretends that it isn’t there resulting in Tess caring after Jordan when she has depression outbreaks and she has to also take time off school to look after her mother as well.

 I rate this book 3.9 because it doesn’t have a lot of dialogue and in some parts it has too much detail and others not enough. I recommend this book to people who like sad realistic fiction.

Title: 1000 facts about space

My summery:This book is about the space, this book has step like first is universe, second pages are stars,third pages are sun...like that. this is not about a story, this is explain about universe. this is about universe, but this is about a rocket, etc, all about the universe. or space. and are you curious? read and find that!!!!!

My Opinion and reasons:

I think this is good read because this explain all about space and universe. IT ha s a timeline too.

My Rating/Recommendation:I give this book 5/5 star. recommend to who likes a universe. and who likes the science, and universe.I think this book is difficult to follow. but I like this book

My Summary:There were two sisters and one boy.They planned to go to the Uncle's house and to go to Uncle’s house it will take many days two sisters fight many times and that book is about two sisters fighting and showing what did they do when they were young.

My Opinion and reasons:

I think this book is very good because it makes us curious and Because there are many picture so I can visualize easily and this book is exciting and if I started to read this book I can’t stop because I want to know what will happen next  also this book is very funny.

My Rating/Recommendation:4/5....I recommend somebody who likes a RF book.I like story because we can’t predict what will happen so we become curious Also it is exciting thinking what will they

The Last Thirteen

    This is a book about Sam, who was an ordinary high school student until he was taken by a group of soldiers with Alex and Eva. After he is told that his parents were a fake, his life changes forever. Now he is the only hope to save the world. He have to fight against Solaris, who is trying to destroy him and everyone else. Will he able to do it?

I think this book is a great book because the book shows us that when a thing or a person has a special ability, there are people who tries to use in a bad and in a good way.

I give 3 out of 5 stars in this book and I recommend this book to people who wants to read young-adult fiction books which makes you think a lot, not books which have a lot of actions or other things.

Fantastic by Mr. Fox

This book is about Mr. fox and his family story. He stole things in 4 farmer’s houses to eat food. They knew Mr. fox stole their things, but they cannot catch him because, Mr. Fox is too smart. And they try to dig Mr. fox’s house, but they ran away more faster than farmers. So, Mr. fox alived and be happy.This is too fun book. Because, Mr. fox is so clever that People can’t catch him

I recommend this book to fantasy lovers

Tuck Everlasting by Natalie Babbitt

 

Winnie Foster, a teenager girl was living in the village. One day, Winnie escaped from domineering mother. She went to the wood near her home. On her way, she met the teenager boy name Jesse Tuck (Actually, he’s really old. But, the time stopped for Tuck’s family because, they drank the eternal water). She followed Jesse and, she met his family (Jesse Tuck, Mile Tuck, Angus Tuck, Mae Tuck). They were really kind and, nice to Winnie. She spend the time in their house. But, unfortunately,  the man in the yellow suit saw Winnie. So, she need to decide whether to go to her normal life or help Tuck’s family.

In my opinion, this book is really interesting because, the keyword is eternal. Everyone think that she/he wants to live forever, but, this book show whether it effects good or bad to our life, and the problem of eternal life. This book makes me think one more time of that part.

I recommend this book to someone who likes to read a book about adventurous, kind of mystery and, friendship. Rate: 4.8 out of 5.

Finally by Wendy Mass

This book is about a girl named Rory who lives in Willow Falls, she is soon to 

turn 12. There is a lot of thing she will be able to do when she turns 12, she can’t wait for it to happen. There are things she will be able to do but that won’t always fit her personality. But in Willow Falls, Angelina D’Angelo has a thing about birthdays...

I think this book is interesting because it means that there are things you can do at a certain age, but others you will never be able to do.

I rate this book 3.5 out of  5 stars because I think it was good but not awesome. I liked it but it was less funny and had less suspense than the first book of this series.

Percy Jackson And The Last Olympian By Rick Riordan

This book is called Percy Jackson And The Last Olympian, and is by Rick Riordan. This book is about friendship, honor, and courage. This has courage and friendship, because Percy’s friends would go down to the last breath. This book also has the honor to respect the gods and fight for their godly parent, even if they like them or not. The setting is very set out and low, it Percy’s mind and saying how he feels and makes you put the puzzle together, Thought+What Has already Happened=Idea. The characters are very talented and are always looking out for one another, even if they have a different parent. A lesson I learn’t is that friends stick together, no matter what the difference.

The famous quote I got was…

“Once she was gone, I knelt next to Annabeth and felt her forehead. She was still burning up. "You're cute when you're worried," she muttered. "Your eyebrows get all scrunched together." This is one of my favorite books because it continues on and on from different books and it all builds up the tension and drama. I would give this book a 4.8 out of 5 stars. I recommend this book to all Percy Jackson followers and Myth Masters, Until again Myth Masters

Dork Diaries By: Rachel Renee Russell

My Summary: This is about a girl named Nikki she has two best friends their names are chloe and zoey, she also has an enemy named mackenzie, Brandon is her friend/secret crush. Nikki has a hard time fitting in at middle school, Mackenzie is always bullying her and she has no idea what to do, but she still has her best friends: Zoey, Chloe, and Brandon.

My Opinion and reasons: my opinion about this book is that it is a very funny and nice book, I like how the author describes what the characters are doing.

My Rating/Recommendation: I rate this 5 out of 5 stars, and recommend this book to people who like funny books.

Anne of Green Gables by Lucy Maud Montgomery

My Summary:In this story, an orphaned girl named Anne got adopted to Matthew’s house by the orphanage’s mistake. Matthew and his sister, Marilla wanted a boy to help their work out but they could not return Anne back because Anne wished to stay in their house so badly. Anne was a naughty and overly energetic girl. One thing she hated lot was that she didn’t anyone to tease about her red hair. One day in school, a boy named Gilbert teases about Anne’s red hair which made Anne really mad. She hit Gilbert’s head with the board. Even though Gilbert apologized her for many times, Anne just ignored him and didn’t accept. Will they be able to become good friends as Gilbert’s wish? Read this book and find out.

My Opinion and reasons: I love this book. First of all, I love the story very much. Secondly, I love how the author expressed the feelings and emotions between the friendships. Thirdly, I love the quotes in this book.

My Rating/Recommendation: 5 out of 5! ★★★★★

Rodrick rules

It is about a middle school boy who has a lots of trouble with his friend and his family. Main problem is that his brother rodrick throws a big party while his parents are gone and they must keep it a secret. In the end the parents found out because one of Rodrick' friend takes a photo and they were grounded.

I think that almost anyone can read this book and it is a very fun book!

I recommend this book for anyone who likes funny books. It is very hard to put the book down once you start. I rate this 4.5/5

My Opinion and reasons: My opinion is that this book is very good but it is very complicated. It may not suit for everybody but people who are into science fiction will love it.

My Rating/Recommendation: I rate this book 4.8/5 because the book is not suitable for everybody and some scenes are very thrilling. I recommend this book to people who like mysteries and to people who scary stories a little bit.

My Opinion and reasons:

This is a good book because it is very descriptive and is a cliffhanger.This book also has a very good because it also has a different story going on in this story

My Rating/Recommendation:My recommendation is people who like Fiction.This would be a good book for the age group 9-11 year old.My rating would be 9/10 stars.

Ghost Horses by Gloria skurzynski

My Summary:

Ghost horses is about a family, who takes on two foster children. They have taken on foster children before, but these two are different. The whole family were going on a family trip with the two foster children and let's just say that it didn't turn out the way they planed. All of them were about this close to losing their lives and one of the family child thinks it is the foster children's fault.

My Opinion and reasons:

I really, really like this book, it was so exciting. Sometimes it becomes a bit scary but that is what makes it exciting. This book is the best book I have read in a year or something like that.

My Rating/Recommendation: People who likes mystery should read this book (it is not that much about horses, if you don't like them) I would recommendation this book for people between 10-18

Kingdom of fantasy by Geronimo stilton

My Summary:Geronimo fall into a kingdom of fantasy and he travel five kingdom and get all stones(diamond,emerald,topaz,sapphire,citrine)

and save queen Blossom.

My Opinion and reasons:I like this book because I like fantasy genre and I like how Geronimo is talking.

My Rating/Recommendation:I will give 4.8 out of 5.I recommend this book to people who likes fantasy because there is many characters in fantasy like fairy,troll,dragon,mermaid etc

My Summary:

So in this story 4 children comes out. It’s Peter, Susan, Edmund, and Lucy. They went to one Professor’s house during world war 2. They all started walking around his house and played Seek and hide. Then Lucy found perfect place to hide! it was wardrobe! and she went deeper and deeper then she suddenly felt it’s cold. She found out the another world inside the wardrobe! Then she came back from it and told everyone what she saw but no one  believed her. Then later they went to that world and met

the aslan ( the lion ) and Aslan gives them special power. After then they fight with the white witch and won the war. After that they had about 10 years in the world ( We call that world Narnia ) but suddenly they came back to their own world, Earth.

My Opinion and reasons:

I really like this book because it has a lot of Adventures and also have lots of fighting scene. It is easy to read because some pictures and other words explain it deeply.

My Rating/Recommendation:

I recommend this book to people who love wars and fighting and adventures. 10 out of 5 stars!

The Red Pyramid by Rick Riordan

Carter and Sadie are brother and sister even if they don’t look alike. Since their mother’s death, they have been separated. Sadie lives with their grandparents and Carter lives with their dad. One day, they discover why they were separated and who they really are...

I really liked this book because it was a graphic novel (you can also read it as a novel) and I love graphic novels and it was written by Rick Riordan, one of my favorite authors. Also, it was a very interesting book full of mysteries, that is a bit humorous, but that can make you learn new things (especially in the Egyptian mythology).

I give this book 6 out of 5 stars because the story is really great, the drawings are well drawn, the story is clear and it’s full of mysteries. I recommend this book to people who already read the Percy Jackson series because they’re a bit related and to people who like mysteries and Egyptian mythology.

Young Cam Jansen and the 100th Day of School Mystery

My Summary: We are excited about 100th day of school party.

They are having snacks but pizza is missing.

My Opinion and reasons:I like this book because this is mystery.

We don’t know the where is the pizza.

My Rating/Recommendation:I give this book 4/5 stars because this book is a mystery book, I don’t know the result so this book is fun to read.

Jedi Academy by Jeffrey Brown

My Summary:

It’s about Roan (a little boy who is in the JEDI ACADEMY) because he wants to be a Jedi and to drive a spaceship. In this story, we follow Roan in his days at the Jedi academy. Many things happen like when someone stole his bag. or when they go to a river to swim and Roan jump into the water and he cried because the water was to cold.

My Opinion and reasons:

It’s a really really good story, I love Star wars and I like when it’s writing like in a diary; it’s writing with the hand, it’s why I enjoyed to read it.  

My Rating/Recommendation:

I proposed this book for the lovers of Star wars and the diary of a wimpy kid.

STANLEY’S CHRISTMAS ADVENTURE by Jeff Brown

My Summary:

This book is about one boy called Stanley and he helps Santa Claus and Christmas.

Santa Claus thinks children don't appreciate Christmas any more, so Santa Claus doesn’t deliver presents even if presents is ready.

Santa's daughter, Sarah and she's mother are troubled. Sarah thinks of her favorite letter, that is from Stanley U.S.A.

That letter said

“I am a regular boy, except that I got flat, the letter said. From an accident. I was going to ask for new clothes, but my mother already bought them. She had to, because of the flatness. So I’m just writing to say don’t bother about me. Have a nice holiday. My father says be careful driving, there are lots of bad drivers this time of year.”

She decided to ask for help to Stanley Lambchop...

After all,  Lambchop family decided to go to snow city, for helping Santa. They went to santa’s house  and santa starts reading the　letters that send from  Lambchop family.

Will Santa's feelings change by reading that letter?

My Opinion and reasons:

My favorite part of this book is the letter of Stanley. I can’t say details but his letter is very thoughtful and it made me feel like I want to hug him.

I recommend this book for someone who likes heart-warming story and Christmas!!

He just sat on the wood and rested. The tree felt good because he helped his best friend.

My Opinion and reasons: I like this book because this book showed me that friends are very important.

My Rating/Recommendation:I think I will give 9.5/10 stars because I think there are lots of them and that them is very good thing to learn.

My Summary:

While they were having fun in the academy they had the days of for some rest, they have went to Kumi’s father’s house and also met her real brother like but from Sweden, his name is Holger . They were having fun with Kumi’s father, and Holger. One day Kumi’s father had been caught by the ninjas and the important doll has been stolen by the ninjas too! Will they find the doll and Kumi’s father come back?
My Opinion and reasons:

The reason why I want to share is that it is a great book for mystery lovers, especially girls. This is a great book that you want to find out what will going to happen next.

My Rating/Recommendation:

My recommendation is four stars ★★★★☆ because I sometimes feel bad that I can not tell them that the bad guy is him!!! So one star is not full.

The Maze Runner by James Dashner

Thomas, the main character of this story, has somehow found himself in an unknown place called ‘the maze’ and no memories about what his life was like before he was put here. Now, he has to help the gladers, people that have also been trapped in the maze, find out how to escape without them all getting killed.

I thought that this book was boring at some points, but then suddenly became intense, making you not be able to put the book down even at boring parts because you know that something exiting will happen next. I thought this was a good book, but it ended very abruptly. I would rate this book 4 stars and recommend it to people that love the mystery genre.

Diary of wimpy kid-dog days by Jeff Kinney

My Summary:In this book a kid named Greg who is a middle schooler, he gets into a lots of trouble and being not good but he solves it in funny way.

My Opinion and reasons:I choose this book because It is fun besides every other wimpy kid and it also looks like a comic book so I like it

My Rating/Recommendation:I rate this book as 110/100 because I liked it so much and it is fun! I recommend this book to people who like comic because this is not a comic but as fun as comic.
