Memory Power! by Dhaval Bhatia

This is a book which talks about the techniques which is useful in memorizing names, faces, year dates, phone numbers, speeches, and other things. This book even tells us how to figure out which day of the week is just by knowing the date! The author says that the best ways to memorizing things are connecting word to pictures, making up stories out of the words to remember, and repeating the words to remember.

I liked this book because it explains the memorizing techniques very easily and shows us examples to  help the readers understand. Other reasons why I liked the book were that the memorizing techniques really work and it fascinated me.

I recommend this book to people who want to memorize things better because it helps you memorize everything.

    

Smile by Raina Telgemeier

My Summary: This story is about a girl who loses her two front teeth when she trips and falls on the ground. Her long hurtful and painful journey starts since the accident occurred. She goes to a dentist almost everyday inserting new fake teeth, wearing braces and a headgear. During her journey, she breaks up with her boyfriend and realize her old friends turned out to be unfriendly. She hates her appearance with ugly metals on her teeth and acne on her skin. Would she be able to smile brightly as she did in the past?

My Opinion and reasons: I read this book in both English and Korean which made me to enjoy twice better. I liked how Raina overcame herself.

This is about a kid named Rafe Khatchadorian who has moved to the city with his family.Right now they are living with his Grandparents.He has a Mom and Sister.He is in 7th grade.His has an invisible brother and they make missions.This time there mission is to stay in school.After a few tries will Rafe stay or get kicked out.Read the book to find out what happens

I think people will enjoy this because it has never ending humor and fun.It maes you think what will happen next.It also has two different things going at the same time.

I would recommend this for people who like pranks and humor.In every chapter there would be a bit of fun.I would rate this 4 stars out of 5.

A Nest for Celeste by Henry Cole

This book is about a mouse called Celeste, who is very good at making baskets with dried grass. Then one day, two rats command her to bring food. When she goes near the dining table, she encounters a cat and runs away. Then she meets a boy called Joseph, who is a apprentice of an artist named Audubon. Later, she helps animals to pose, so that the Audubon will draw pictures of them without killing them. Will Celeste save the animals?

I like this book because it has interesting solutions to problems that Celeste face, which made me not get bored while reading.

I give 4 out of 5 stars for this book and I recommend it to animal lovers because this book is about a mouse trying to save animals from being killed for an artwork.

The teacher say that  can go see theater teacher. Finally Freddy is in the play. He work à lot to be the green kangaroo.The come for Freddy to do the big play. The green kangaroo is a  very good play!!!!

I like this book because here is many detail and I can understand…

My Summary:

Geronimo Stilton is the character and the setting starts in his house. He has many troubles in this story so Cheesy Lou helps Geronimo Stilton. Cheesy Lou is a kind cowmouse and they figure out the problems that Geronimo has together. The most problem was that he always broke his bone. So he was having a Valentine’s Day so he ordered the cake. But the cake didn’t came so he went to take the cake with Cheesy Lou’s horse. He had arrived home safely with the cake but when he arrives home Trap (Geronimo’s cousin) breaks the cake. What will Geronimo do?
My Opinion and reasons:

The reason why I want to share this book to a party lover or a horse lover because if they read this book they can imagine the picture of some of the horse.This book tells some of the things that we can do in Valentine’s Day

This book is about a boy. One day he begins to arrive later than his sister. Her sister and her  mother's  are very stressed. His sister start to spy  on her brother. The  sister start to ask to friend to help… At the end the sister find what the brother  was doing after school.
t’s a very good book because  and I can understand. I will give ⅘ to this book. I will recommend this book the the person who like adventure.

I think this book is very good because it makes us curious and Because there are many picture so I can visualize easily and this book is exciting and if I started to read this book I can’t stop because I want to know what will happen next  also this book is very funny.

The Last Thirteen

    This is a book about Sam, who was an ordinary high school student until he was taken by a group of soldiers with Alex and Eva. After he is told that his parents were a fake, his life changes forever. Now he is the only hope to save the world. He have to fight against Solaris, who is trying to destroy him and everyone else. Will he able to do it?

I think this book is a great book because the book shows us that when a thing or a person has a special ability, there are people who tries to use in a bad and in a good way.

I give 3 out of 5 stars in this book and I recommend this book to people who wants to read young-adult fiction books which makes you think a lot, not books which have a lot of actions or other things.

Fantastic by Mr. Fox

This book is about Mr. fox and his family story. He stole things in 4 farmer’s houses to eat food. They knew Mr. fox stole their things, but they cannot catch him because, Mr. Fox is too smart. And they try to dig Mr. fox’s house, but they ran away more faster than farmers. So, Mr. fox alived and be happy.This is too fun book. Because, Mr. fox is so clever that People can’t catch him

Winnie Foster, a teenager girl was living in the village. One day, Winnie escaped from domineering mother. She went to the wood near her home. On her way, she met the teenager boy name Jesse Tuck (Actually, he’s really old. But, the time stopped for Tuck’s family because, they drank the eternal water). She followed Jesse and, she met his family (Jesse Tuck, Mile Tuck, Angus Tuck, Mae Tuck). They were really kind and, nice to Winnie. She spend the time in their house. But, unfortunately,  the man in the yellow suit saw Winnie. So, she need to decide whether to go to her normal life or help Tuck’s family.

In my opinion, this book is really interesting because, the keyword is eternal. Everyone think that she/he wants to live forever, but, this book show whether it effects good or bad to our life, and the problem of eternal life. This book makes me think one more time of that part.

I recommend this book to someone who likes to read a book about adventurous, kind of mystery and, friendship. Rate: 4.8 out of 5.

Dork Diaries By: Rachel Renee Russell

My Summary: This is about a girl named Nikki she has two best friends their names are chloe and zoey, she also has an enemy named mackenzie, Brandon is her friend/secret crush. Nikki has a hard time fitting in at middle school, Mackenzie is always bullying her and she has no idea what to do, but she still has her best friends: Zoey, Chloe, and Brandon.

My Opinion and reasons: my opinion about this book is that it is a very funny and nice book, I like how the author describes what the characters are doing.

My Rating/Recommendation: I rate this 5 out of 5 stars, and recommend this book to people who like funny books.

Anne of Green Gables by Lucy Maud Montgomery

My Summary:In this story, an orphaned girl named Anne got adopted to Matthew’s house by the orphanage’s mistake. Matthew and his sister, Marilla wanted a boy to help their work out but they could not return Anne back because Anne wished to stay in their house so badly. Anne was a naughty and overly energetic girl. One thing she hated lot was that she didn’t anyone to tease about her red hair. One day in school, a boy named Gilbert teases about Anne’s red hair which made Anne really mad. She hit Gilbert’s head with the board. Even though Gilbert apologized her for many times, Anne just ignored him and didn’t accept. Will they be able to become good friends as Gilbert’s wish? Read this book and find out.

My Opinion and reasons: I love this book. First of all, I love the story very much. Secondly, I love how the author expressed the feelings and emotions between the friendships. Thirdly, I love the quotes in this book.

My Summary:

The Thea sisters are off to Japan and they met one friend in the academy, her name is Kumi. While they were having fun in the academy they had the days of for some rest, they have went to Kumi’s father’s house and also met her real brother like but from Sweden, his name is Holger . They were having fun with Kumi’s father, and Holger. One day Kumi’s father had been caught by the ninjas and the important doll has been stolen by the ninjas too! Will they find the doll and Kumi’s father come back?
My Opinion and reasons:

The reason why I want to share is that it is a great book for mystery lovers, especially girls. This is a great book that you want to find out what will going to happen next.

My Rating/Recommendation:

My recommendation is four stars ★★★★☆ because I sometimes feel bad that I can not tell them that the bad guy is him!!! So one star is not full.

The two brothers in this book go to a hotel and find a bomb under a car that explodes and kills someone and the brothers try to find the criminal.
I liked this book because of the cars in it and because the boys work undercover and there is lots of action.

My Rating/Recommendation: 110 out of 10. This book is awesome. I recommend this book to boys who like cops, chases and cars.

Think this book is very good because we don’t know what will happen and we can learn about baseball little bit.

My Opinion and reasons: I enjoyed reading this book because it’s full of excitements and mysterious adventures. My Rating / Recommendation: I recommend this book to everyone who enjoy reading fantasy and adventure stories. Rate: 3.8 out of 5

It is about a girl named Jamie who is in 6th grade,she goes through lots of trouble with her friends.

she has a best friend named Isabella, and an enemy named Angeline.in chapter 2 stinker Jamie's dog and Sticky buns Angeline's dog have pups witch bring them closer together and Jamie wants a puppy but her mom says no.But in the middle of the book Isabella and Jamie start to fit and  Isabelle is secretly friends with Angeline.Soon later Jamie discovers it…

Will they all be friends or all be enemies and will Jaime get a puppy.

My opinion is that it is a great book but only sees what she sees in her diary so a lot of it is fiction,like:how she thought that people who make quizzes are geniuses.

   I rate the book ⅗ stars and I think is for people who like drama and funny stories.

My Opinion and reasons: I think this book is very interesting and it makes you feel what’s the solution for  this? and like that. And it’s a perfect book to read if you like love story and mystery.

My Rating/Recommendation: Well I think this book is for someone who likes love story and if you like mystery. This is very nerve racking. And for me I think it’s ⅘ stars.
