Ender's Game by Orson Scott Card

I recently finished a book called Ender’s Game written by Orson Scott Card. This was about a boy who at the age of 10 left his parents to go to this rigorous battle school. At first he did not like it but after he grew in the ranks of the school. He went on to become a great commander. But the teachers did not like that. So they stacked all of the odds against him. Even though the odds were stacks against him he still pushed his way through and won every battle. The teachers were getting very angry so they made him play the big battle. He won!!! Then he became the greatest commander of all time.

I would rate this book 4.5 stars!!!!

Book review by Ilya #4

I am reading a book named the circle of Gold and it is the third and the last book in series. So far this book is my favourite.  With all action in it.

To rescue his father, Sam survived a Viking attack, threats from Chicago gangsters, a tribe of enraged cavemen, and the eruption of Mount Vesuvuis. He stood trial for theft in ancient Greece and faced down Vlad the Impaler - the model for Count Dracula. Now he's returned with his father to the present day... but the faceless enemy who tried to keep them from coming back waits to ensnare them again. To find him and defeat him for once and for all, Sam must take one last series of trips through Time, encountering the tomb of a Chinese emperor, the secrets of Renaissance Rome, and finally frightengly, worst of all: the future...

Artemis Fowl: The Eternity Code by Eoin Colfer

I just finished the book Artemis Fowl: The Eternity Code by Eoin Colfer in the month of November. I just kept turning the page one after the other. It was so good. It was about a boy named Artemis Fowl who is thirteen years old and is a criminal mastermind. He has his butler always by his side. Then he made a cube called the C Cube. It's basically a supercomputer that can hack into any network in the world and with that you can do anything. He makes a business deal with an American (Artemis is Irish) when it goes terribly wrong. In that process, Artemis is almost shot. Luckily for Artemis, Butler (his butler) dived in the way and got shot. The good thing was that Butler was wearing a bulletproof vest. The bad thing is that the bullet went through the bulletproof vest. Butler was severely injured. Luckily, Holly Short, Artemis and Butler's fairy friend comes to the rescue and heals Butler. Everyone advised Artemis not to do the healing process for Butler because there would be some side effects. Artemis still wanted to do it because Butler was like his only friend. When the healing process is done, Butler got about 15 years older! Then they battle public enemy number 1: Opal Koboi and the traitor: Cudgeon.

Do they defeat them? You'll have to find out yourself. This book much better than the 2nd book The Arctic Incident. It is not as boring and there is a lot more action.
This book was interesting and I recommend it to people who like fantasy and action books. I would rate this book 4/5 stars.
