Summary

This Book is about a boy called Stanley who goes to a work camp for boys, for stealing shoes. His parents can't hire a lawyer so he is stuck there. He meets new friends who nickname him "Caveman". They are forced to dig holes in a dry riverbed and Stanley wants to know why many years ago Kate Barlow fell in love with Sam the onion man who was shot dead in the river. What could be the connection? Read to find out.

Review 

I think this was an Extremely good read because of a few things:

• Never-Ending Mystery
• Leaves you thinking about it
• Plays 2 timelines

I recommend this book for mystery lovers and people who like cliffhangers. At Every Point in the story Something is a mystery. The book is easy to follow, and I think it is a great book to read to the class!

Diary of wimpy kid by Jeff Kinney

There was the who called Gregg. This book is all about his diary. He is very lazy because he plays video games even its sunny day in summer break. His plan was play video game s all the time in the summer break but he can not play anymore because his father makes Greg to stop to plays video games. He always going to the the country-club with his best friend. He's best friend is Rowley. They went to country-club and they met holly. THey played a lot. Gregg takes care of his dog. He chase his dog and his dog 'Sweetie' on Gregg's bed so he can not sleep. 

Futa's second book review

                                                                            This was my first time reading Harry Potter in English
                                                               and what I figured out is that there was lot of parts that Japanese was translated wrong. I compared with english and Japanese and I noticed that. Anyway, going back to the book, I really enjoyed this book. The first time I picked up this book, it made me really dizzy because the boo was lot bigger than Japanese version. But I kept on reading it since it was my goal for this year. What I was surprised about this book is that this book will make me want to read more and more. When I read the Japanese version, it didn't made me feel this much. I think that happened because it is the actual writing of the author. I had hard time finding what some vocabulary means but I think it was right level for me. The best part of this was when Hogwarts are trying to make Harry read the letter for inviting to the Hogwarts.  I am looking forward to read the next series IN  ENGLISH. I hope  I will enjoy more than this time!

Matilda-Dongwook Kang

This is a book about Matilda. She is so smart and likes to read the books. She is so poor, because she is smart, but her parents hates Matilda. They were like jealous, and sometimes they were so angry because she is smart, and doesn't like to do what parents wants to do to her daughter. I don't get why her parents are so angry at her. If their kids are smart, then parents should be happy with that. I want everybody who I know to read this book.

Charlie And The Chocolate Factory

Chocolate Factory By Roald Dahl.

This book is about poor charlie and his family. Charlie is the main character, he also met his birthday and got a chocolate for present. I think that his family really like charlie because even though they don't have money they bought charlie a nice little chocolate. In chocolate there was a ticket to visit to the chocolate factory!!!! Then he met a crazy guy called willy Wonka and he changed Charlies life.......

I recommend this book for people who are a realistic fiction and Roald Dahls LOVER!!!!

McBroom Tell The Truth By Sid Fleischman

I  read this book because its very fun and interesting.And I like this book because the character Mcbroom has so many trait like cheerful,angry,polite ,lovely,and truth guy. This book is about Mcbroom and he can explain about watermelon in a minute.

And this book is about The  Adventure Of McBroom.

I like this book because he like to tell the truth to the people.

Stronger by Michael Carrol

I started reading this book in this October and ended this book in November. This book is a very thrilling and full of exciting action an entertainment. This boom is in a series of three books. The first one being this one. The second being a book called "Super Human" and the third is a book called "Ascension." Just like the first one these books have lots of action from the start.

This book is basically about a 13 year old boy who turned into a superhuman who looked like the person on the cover of the book, a BEAST. He has a very uncomfortable life and works 23 hours in a day in a mine. While doing all of this he tries to protect the world from the forces of evil.

I would definitely recommend this book to people who love thrilling and to people who like fantasy genre books. Also, if you want to understand the second and third books, your going to have to read the first one. :)))

The Book of Time book review by Ilya

I red this book by Guillaume Prevost, named "The Book of Time". It is about the boy who lives with his grandparents because his mother left him and his dad, and his dad is missing. He is curios of where his dad is. He decided to start looking in his fathers book shop. When he found his dad's clothes and tooth brush in the closet he decided that his dad couldn't leave and leave his cloths. By accident he  found a secret door which le to a room with only one thing a stone statue. When he puts a coin in the middle it brings him back in time! And his troubles began...

My favourite part of this book is when he is in the time of first world war running away from German and French soldiers in the same time!

I recommend this book to people who like fantasy and mistory.       

Zippy's Lost Stripes.

Hobie looked at Zippy and smiled, then he said.

I think it is a funny book and my friends will like it.
