They are forced to dig holes in a dry riverbed and Stanley wants to know why many years ago Kate Barlow fell in love with Sam the onion man who was shot dead in the river. What could be the connection? Read to find out.

Review

I think this was an Extremely good read because of a few things:

  • Never-Ending Mystery
  • Leaves you thinking about it
  • Plays 2 timelines
I recommend this book for mystery lovers and people who like cliffhangers. At Every Point in the story Something is a mystery. The book is easy to follow, and I think it is a great book to read to the class!

 5/5
