The book insurgent is about a girl called Tris, in her previous Chicago world, the society is divided in 5 factions. Clans if you like. Candor (the honest), Abnegation (the selfless), Dauntless (the brave), Amity (the peaceful), and Erudite (the intelligent). On a day every year, all 16 year olds must choose a faction that they wish to serve for the rest of their lives. For, Tris she has to choose wether to stay with her family in abnegation or follow what she wants. Her choice suprises everyone.
Trisis real name was Beatrice but when she makes her choice she changes her name to Tris. She struggles alongside her friends to live along the choice they have made. They must survive amazing physical tests of endurance and intense simulations, some with devastating consequences. As initiation transforms them all, Tris must decide who her friends really are and where they are. But Tris has a secret a deep one she’s kept hidden from everyone as she’s been warned it can mean death. As she discovers threats and death that wil ruin he perfect society, she learns that her secret might be what helps her save those she loves . . . or it might be what destroys her.
