I recently finished a book called The 100-Year-Old Secret by Tracy Barrett.This book is the first book in the Sherlock Files series. Xena is a 12 year old American girl who moves to London with her brother Xander who is 10 with their mother and father from Florida. After getting a mysterious note while playing  The Game Xena and Xander's life changes.Xena and Xander come to know that they are the descendants of the legendary Sherlock Holmes. They are given a notebook with all of Sherlock Holmes uncompleted cases. They attempt to solve a case about Nigel Batheson's missing painting 'The girl in the purple hat'.

Will Xena and Xander be able to succeed where Sherlock Holmes failed?

This book is for people who like to read mystery books about children our age solving mysteries. I would rate this book 5 stars!
