The King of Murder

Book Review: The King of Murder

In our class, with my partner, Arya, we have made a short trailer of the book called The King of Murder. The genre of this book is murder and mystery and it is written by the author of Betsy Byars. There are several different series written by the same author. In this book, the main character Herculeah is trying to solve the mystery of the murder case made by the mysterious man named, Mathias King. Herculeah is brave and very curious girl who likes to go through many murder cases and is willing to help others. Then she meets this women which she calls herself, Gilda. Gilda tells Herculeah a long and sad story of her death of her close friend. And Hurculeah decides to solve the problem but could it be possibly Mathias King..? This story takes reader to the scary places and it have lot of twist and turns. It made me shiver while I was reading this book, you should all try to read this book!

I love to read the mystery books and in my personal opinion, this book is the best book I have ever read in this series!! If you start reading this book, you would not want to put down this book. I would give this book five stars*****. All the characters are so unique and has different personalities and so sometimes the author give some clue to help reader think who might the criminal be. Author puts a lot of turns in the book!! The way she writes a description of the criminal and puts reader into a curiosity, she is awesome at that.  I really enjoyed this book because the author expresses many scenes in details so that you would think you are actually in the place.  I would strongly recommend to ones who have a deep interest in murder case or mysteries. If you are finished with this book, it is also a good idea to find more series by this author.

Peril at End House ~ Book Review

Peril at End House ~ Book Review

This year, I have read many great books, of all different genres. One of my favourite books was called Peril at End House. This is a mystery book and is written by Agatha Christie.

This book is about a young girl, Nick Buckley, who lives in End House, in the Cornish Riviera. She has a great life, filled with friends, excitement and fun. She is beautiful and smart, however, recently somebody has been targeting her and she worries about her life and the lives of the people around her. Fortunately, the amazing detectives Poirot and Captain Hastings hear of these tragic attempts on her life and they are determined to get to the bottom of the puzzling mystery. After days of planning and organizing to keep Nick safe, something tragic happens and everything changes. Nick, her friends and her cousin, Maggie, are enjoying the annual firework celebration when it gets a bit cold. Running inside to get a coat for Maggie and herself, Nick goes upstairs. But when she comes down, something so horrible has happened that the game fighting for her life loses all its rules. The answer, the clue, the key, to solving this mystery is so small that it is beyond any person's imagination.

This is a fantastic book full with amazing twists and turns. It will grab you at once and never let you go until you know the truth. And the truth is so shocking and surprising, that you will want to read even  more. I loved this book and would recommend it to any mystery-loving reader in a heartbeat.

In my opinion, this book definitely deserves 5 stars (*****) because of the remarkable way it's written and because of the brilliant plot! It is a book that every mystery-loving person needs on their shelf. I would easily recommend this book to any of my friends and I look forward to reading many more Agatha Christie books in the future.
