About two weeks ago I finished the fourth book in the Septimus Heap series.

This book is AWESOME!!!
Septimus's older brother Nicko is trapped in time with Snorri Snorrelssen. It has been six months since Jenna and Septimus last saw them. They don't know what to do, how will they rescue Nicko and Snorri? Will they be stuck back in time forever? Marcellus Pye comes the rescue. Ever since he drank Septimus's Tincture he looks as young as ever. The immortal 500 year old man no longer looks like a 500 year old man! (but he still thinks like one) Marcellus tells Septimus, Jenna, and Beetle(Septimus's best friend) about The House of Foryx, the place Where All Times Do Meet. He said that Nicko and Snorri had set off for The House 500 years ago. He gave them a copy of a map to the House that Snorri had so carefully drawn, 500 years ago! He said that Nicko and Snorri had forgotten that people who enter the House may only exit when someone from any time arrives, and when they exit, they will enter that person's time. So Nicko and Snorri might be trapped in the House of Foryx! They can still rescue them! Jenna keeps the map, but a boy (Merrin Meredith) stubbornly bumps into her and Jenna drops them! The 500 year old papers were very fragile and tore in many tiny pieces when she dropped them. Meanwhile Septimus has an even bigger problem. That stubborn ghost, Tertius Fume, is trying to make him draw him draw from the Questing Pot! The Queste is something that every Extraordinary Apprentice goes on on the last day of their Apprenticeship. If the Apprentice draws a stone with nothing on it he will not have to go on the Queste, but if the stone has a gold Q on it, they have to go. One more thing, no one has ever come back from the Queste.
Will Septimus go on the Queste?
If he does, will he survive?

ReplyDeleteGreat work. It is really good and wow it is so long. I have question that why is Septimus's older brother Nicko is trapped in time? Also, I told this in Snehan's writing add some of your feelings like how do you think about this book. It is fine to write what is happening in the story but don't write it too much. We want to hear what do you think about your book not what is exactly happening in the story. Anyway, nice work. I love it. I will try to read this book next time.
