Esio trot by Roald Dahl (Jeongwoo)

This book is called Esio trot, the book by Roald Dahl.
It is Realistic fiction book.


This story is about old man who named Mr. Hoppy that he loved the woman called Mrs.Silver that she live in downstairs, he really loved her but he was so shy man so he would not say it to her.
Mrs. Silver raise one tortoise named Alfie, and she love him very much. Mr. Hoppy knew about it, too. One day, he asked to her about her tortoise, and he knew about that she want to grow her tortoise bigger than now.
He thought one idea. Hrote something on small paper and sent it to Mrs.Silver.
It wrote:

ESIO TROT, ESIO TROT,

TEG REGGIB REGGIB!

EMOC NO, ESIO TROT,

WORG PU, FFUP PU, TOOHS PU!

GNIRPS PU, WOLB PU, LLEWS PU!

EGROG! ELZZUG! FFUTS! PLUG!

TUP NO TAF, ESIO TROT, TUP NO TAF!

TEG NO, TEG NO, ELBBOG DOOF!

It was about growing tortoise, he turned all words into backwards.

He said 'it's magic words, it will help your tortoise grow up!'

And he went to pet shop and bought one hundred tortoise that they are really similar as Alfie, and he changed Mrs. Silver's tortoise into bigger tortoises every days when Mrs.Silver is not in home.

And Mrs. Silver started to think about her tortoise growing bigger...

I read this book really funnily, because it made me really nervous and make smile in every parts of this story. 

But I little confused about this book's ending.

Before read this book, I thought any stories cannot get happy ending if story's characters use tricks to other.

But In this book, Mr.Hoppy used trick for achieve his love, but it was really happy ending. 

I think it brake our normal thinking so it is fine book.

I think this book is 3 stars

- it was good and I would recommend it to people who might like it.
