This is a really good Mystery book. 

The story is about a girl named Herculeah. Her father is a detective and he just got a new mission from a big man with black clothes on and a hat pulled over his face with a really loud and scary voice, her father should check out something about the the old spooky house in the neighborhood, standing empty since a long time. Herculeah want's to find out what the problem with this spooky house is. So she follows the black man and makes a shocking discovery.......

I would give the book a rating of about 4 stars (****). Because it was really interesting and puzzling to find out what happened at the end. It also hooks the reader to not stop till you finally find out what happened.

I choose this book because I think a lot of people who like Mystery books will enjoy it just like I did. 
This is a good book for upper elementary till end of middle school. I think it's a book for boys and girls. The main character is a girl but that doesn't matter because there are a lot of other male character. So it is not only a girl book.
